We'd like to Welcome our new trainer, Alisa Mills.
Alisa Mills is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She is also a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Alisa has worked as a pet adoption counselor, pet dog trainer and assistance dog trainer over the past five years. She has taught hundreds of dogs and their people through group classes and private lessons. Alisa continues her education through animal behavior and psychology coursework, as well as attending seminars and workshops.

PUPPY BASICS:
Puppy Basics is an ongoing weekly class for puppies ages 9 to 16 weeks of age. Each session lasts about one hour. You may attend as many classes as you wish provided that your dog is within the age limit.

  • Socialize, Learn and Play!
  • This class focuses on early socialization, confidence building, puppy handling, prevention/management and good manners.
  • Topics discussed include housebreaking, puppy chewing/nipping/mouthing and jumping.
  • Behaviors taught include name recognition, sit, drop it and leave it.
  • Additional topics, clicker training and free play too!

PRICE: $80 for four consecutive weeks. Since classes are rolling admission, you can start any time!

DATES: Sundays, ongoing, 9:00am

BASIC SKILLS:
This is a six-week class for dogs over 16 weeks of age. Each session lasts about one hour. The first session is a people-only orientation. Please attend without your dog.
  • Build skills and strengthen your relationship with your dog!
  • Increase your dog’s ability to learn with clicker training
  • Lessons include loose-leash walking, sit, down, come and stay.
  • Additional topics and maybe a trick or two!

PRICE: $100 for the 6-week session

DATES: Sunday, January 11th at 10:00am

DOGGIE SOCIALS:
Enjoy socializing your silly dog in this 45 minute session of indoor, off-leash play. This is intended for friendly, well-socialized dogs over 16 weeks of age.

  • Socialization for dogs (and people)!
  • Dogs play in a safe, controlled environment with trainer supervision
  • Small groups to ensure safety

PRICE:
$5 per session for dogs that have attended any previous You Silly Dog class
$10 per session for dogs that have not attended a You Silly Dog class

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to purchase Doggie Socials in blocks of 4 sessions for $20 for existing clients, and $40 for new clients.

DATES:
All-size dogs - Sundays, ongoing, 11:00am
Small dogs , 20lbs or less - every other Sunday, 11:45am

REGISTRATION: Doggie Socials are limited in size, therefore you must preregister. If you have never attended a doggie social before, please fill out the registration form and remit with payment. If you have attended a doggie social, and your dog's paperwork and vaccinations are up to date, you may remit payment via Paypal to secure your spot.
